She has a weakness for people, and she keeps people in her life,
no matter what.
Shug is the person who lifts Celie up &
Gives her the will to leave behind
a life of victimhood & become a new woman.
But ultimately, Shug can’t (or won’t)
commit to a romantic relationship with just one person.

Dr. MLK Jr. & Corretta Scott King,
Today is the day Corretta Scott King was born.

As we celebrate Dr. King’s life and continue to build a world that is a reflection of his dream,
Let’s also celebrate his marriage, afterall it was the foundation of the man we came to
Love, Honor and Respect.
Lets celebrate it every time we celebrate his life & legacy
In doing so, We continue to make his dream a reality.
